Hi! I’m Gillian and I write books for children through young adults. My stories usually include a math or science concept and I hope they will spark enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
I was fortunate to grow up in Silicon Valley among engineers, scientists, and mathematicians who loved what they did and shared their excitement. I studied Math and Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College. As a software engineer, I worked on robots, map routing, industrial automation, some web stuff, a video game, and the cloud.
I also illustrate and am part of a wonderful critique group of artists: The Broad Strokes.
